Our Story
OVER 30 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE IN NORTHERN VABukont Homes started in Virginia with small renovations—hands-on projects that built our reputation one room and one relationship at a time. As our work grew, we expanded into single custom home builds and eventually larger neighborhood projects, bringing the same care and attention to every detail regardless of scale.
Today, with more than 30 years of experience and over 200 homes built, we’re known for timeless design, exceptional craftsmanship, and a client experience that feels calm, organized, and well supported. Founding Principal, Steve Bukont, a graduate of Virginia Tech’s School of Architecture, designs each home specifically for its site and has never built the same home twice. He guides each project from early feasibility and budgeting through architectural coordination, selections, construction, and final detailing.
